By now lots of advice, caveats, suggestions, etc.,short of hiring an attorney, LOL!
Certainly they're all good.
But - just two thoughts.
1. Often folks trade-in their trailers either because:
It needs repairs (poor condition), or they can't -or don't want to- sell it themselves - for whatever reason/s.
2. If a potential seller has a nice, well maintained trailer - it
will virtually sell itself.
Trading-in is a win-win for the dealer (only) - go back to #1.
So the second "thought" is consider purchasing from a private party.
If you find "the one", and don't feel confident enough to thoroughly inspect it yourself before making a deposit - pay a mobile RV service to inspect it.
BTW - line up your own financing (if you need it), even if purchasing from a dealer..;)
