another option is go to a well stocked gas supplier (or welding supplier) they have all kinds of neat fittings (in some cases) you can have an adapter made to fit your existing tank hoses to extend them to go to the 100lb, and just take them off to switch back,,, put away for the next time you need them.
That was my initial thinking. Disconnect the hose from the regulator to the 7.5 Gallon tank at the 7.5 gallon tank end and then insert a hose extender from that open connector to the connector on the 100 lb tank. Then when I want to just run off the 7.5 gallon tank remove the hose extender. Seems to me like a simple solution but.... no body sells a hose extender, at least on the internet, with those two mating OPD connections on it. So I must be missing something? Is there a technical reason why that doesn't work?
