The fact is that 5er are Naturally more stable than a TT. The pure Physics of how each act on the TV. The TT has a 3' to 4' leaver on the back of the TV to induce sway, 5er's have zero lever to to induce sway.
Hensley sells a expensive hitch to control sway, I have never seen a 5er hitch have to make that claim, as the 5er would need to have a pin weight so light to create any sway you could lift by hand.
Yes, they can be set up to tow without creating sway, but then there is the emergency evasion move!!
