What is this? ( a plumbing question )
Found this under our bathroom sink. Any idea what it is, I don't recognize this device, some kind if a vent ? I see an arrow designating flow direction. Thanks for any input.

Mine just started leaking as I was flushing out after a Florida trip. I made a note to check it this spring. One of the connections was loose enough that I could turn it with my hand.
