What is this? ( a plumbing question )
Found this under our bathroom sink. Any idea what it is, I don't recognize this device, some kind if a vent ? I see an arrow designating flow direction. Thanks for any input.

Keep an eye on it when you flush. I flushed a month ago and afterwards found water under the sink. Ordered a new one off of Amazon and replaced it....no more leaks.
