What is this? ( a plumbing question )
Found this under our bathroom sink. Any idea what it is, I don't recognize this device, some kind if a vent ? I see an arrow designating flow direction. Thanks for any input.

Thanks for the watch out reply. Mine is pretty secure from moving around. But I will be keeping an eye on it, especially when I back flush.
