I suppose if you're staying off the grid, carrying a lot of stuff is handy, but mostly I'm not that far from a hardware store. And I hate clutter. OTOH I do carry a few tools: pliers, V/O meter, small tool set.

I realized years ago, regardless of what spare part I had it wasn't what I needed. Just made for too much 'stuff'
