Well we are still at Table Rock State Park. We had the 5er all ready to go. Wife backed the truck up to the 5er for me to hitch up. I got behind the wheel ready to drive away, she said "check the brakes, they didn't act right." Well I put my foot on the brake pedal and it went to the floor!!!! Wow!!! Glad we weren't on the hwy when it let go. Apparently a rear brake line rusted through.
Any way, Good Sam to the rescue. Towed the truck to a repair shop just across the hwy from the park. Parts have been ordered, truck will be first in line tomorrow morning.
Dang!!! We have to spend another night!!! I think we can tough it out. The good Lord was definitely watching over us today!!!
