What's do you store the ladders while in route

I just got a new toy hauler with a loft, so I have two ladders one for the loft and one for the top bunk in the garage. I also have steps for the patio. My question is I will be carrying a golf cart with me where do you guys store the ladders while traveling.

  • I went and bought some of those mop or broom holders you can mount to the wall. The kind you press a broom stick into and the broom hangs down. I mounted four in the garage on the sidewall in a position that won't interfere with lowering the beds. Its actually held on with an adhesive instead of screwing into the wall. The ladder stays there and hasn't fallen for a few thousand miles.

Its one of those designs the manufacturers should have created from the beginning.
  • I hook my loft ladder on the trim of either the kitchen slide or the living room slide while traveling. The garage bed ladder rides either on top queen or the bottom couches. When they are all the way up, the ladder stays in place because I put some pillows around it. The patio steps has a dedicated place in the forward pass through storage. The handrail goes wherever it will fit in the garage. The patio is kind of useless as far as I am concerned. I'd only ever use it if I was backed up to the beach or the lake.
  • The loft ladder rides in the loft, 2-3 inches past of the lip, the bunk ladder rides on the floor. We have a removable table for the couch, that rides wedged upside down between the bottom and back cushions of the couch. All the garage pillows and blankets ride on the bottom bunk, pressed up against the top one. If someone is crashing on the couch, their bedding is in the loft when "up".
  • on the top bunk of the electric queen beds, we only have the one for the beds.
  • I have 2 ladders and steps as well. The steps and one of the ladders are in storage. The other usually rides on the garage floor.
  • On the lower bunk in the raised position, surrounded by pillows so that they don't fall off the bed during travel...without the pillows they have slipped off of the bed during travel.
