Seems to me that upgrading twice in five years is an exercise in losing money. Get the current model fixed so it doesn't blow fuses anymore ( you can't run the a/c and toaster and hair dryer at the same time) and keep it. Lots can happen in five years to upset a great plan.
added later: don't fret. even with a 50 amp circuit the girls will find a way to blow the internal c/b as you described.
