Go for the empty-nest unit next. This year or in ten is your choice.
I am in the same zone and I will be keeping mine five more years.
You might be able to reduce the tripping of the 30a breaker but that would be another thread maybe in Tech Issues. Maybe even add a second air.
But if money is easy... go for it.
