A 13K dry weight fifth wheel is worthy of a Dual Rear Wheel 1 ton truck.
It's going to simply have too much PIN weight, especially after being loaded up with your family and all their stuff, fuel in the truck, etc.
I have a 3/4 ton crewcab diesel pickup, and I'm holding myself to buying an 11K dry weight fifth wheel with a 2K dry pin weight. Any heavier and I'm uncomfortable towing without duals.
