I replaced my entire assemblies, brakes, drums, bearings and seals after which I drove about 8,000 miles one summer. I then pulled the hubs and found that 5 of the 8 cheap Chinese bearings were failing. I replaced with quality Timken bearings and had no issue since. Yes, the all of the work was done correctly, the bearings had manufacturing defects. Do what you want and believe what you want, but until you inspect this cheap junk you are only guessing. Had I pumped a bit of grease in there and called it good, total failure would have happened. Yes, I have a temperature gun and saw no elevated temperatures.
