And the internet is also filled with rumors of "people having problems with over greased and blown out seals." :)
A lot depends on what kind of axle/hubs you have and if they are in good shape. I've seen pictures of quite a few seal mounting surfaces that came bad from the factory. And mine suffered in the same area, mine were not bad enough to cause problems but I've seen some that were absolutely horrible. Mine cleaned up well enough and have caused no issues.
I have used the zerks on my hubs 3 times in 6 years. I bought my Fuzion new in 2010 and pulled the brakes for the first time this year. Everything is fine with no grease except where it is supposed to be.
And a lot depends on mileage too. Mine only has about 20,000 miles on it, so if yours gets that much in 2 years you'll want to check more frequently.
