I kelp the black closed and the gray stays open until the after the last night showers and then it gets closed. The day that we leave I spend about an hour flushing the black and after the morning showers and cleaning the camper the gray tanks have become full so after the black tank is running clear water I close that value and dump the gray. After the gray I clean the sewer hose and everything is stored in a tote till next time.
