When to use water pressure regulator on fiver?

Recently we were at a campground that had 40psi for water coming into our fiver. Normally we've seen 50+ or 60+. The question I have is if water pressure is low I am guessing you do not need a regul...

The fixed pressure pressure reducers are a joke unless you like very restricted water.

Spend the money and buy a Watts regulator that is adjustable with a gauge built in. I check the water pressure before hooking up with a screw on gauge. I use the regulator if the psi is over 60.
