Where to get a real Leland Pin Box

Can you still get a Leland 7910 pin box or are they obsolete?

I was thinking of doing an air pin box but think I have gave up on that. Even though they list them as a replacement for the 7910 but they only sort of are.

Original 7910 is suppose to be 9" from front holes to pin as I understand.

The 5th Airborne is 15"
The Trail Air is around 13" but I can't get a straight answer out of them.

    Demco only sells the Glide Ride as far as I know.
  • Anyone have any advice on this? I did verify that the TrailAir 7910 box is 14" to the pin, not 9" like it should be. How do I know this, well I have one sitting here after the guy I ordered it from promised me it was 9"!!!!

    So what is the history of Leland?
  • Leland Engineering -> Dexter -> Lippert

    For many years Leland Engineering was the exclusive frame supplier to Jayco - our 2 Jayco Designer 5th wheels had Leland Engineering frames. Leland was purchased by Dexter who was purchased by Lippert.

  • As far as where to get a Leland Engineering pin box, have you checked with the larger RV salvage yards? There are quite a few on the internet.
