Where's the light switch?

Bought a new to us 2015 Lifestyles LS36FW 5th wheel that has a led light strip on the front cap. Any one know where they hid the light switch for this light on this unit?

  • We found our switch next to the compartment under the front cap. We didn't know what it was for quite awhile, and someone else pointed it out!

If your trailer has the newer auto level system like ours made buy Lippert you have a function on the LED screen that has your leveling, slides, awning and light...

The light function on the screen is for the light on your front cap and nothing else, strange but true ...

All my exterior lights are on the main control panel with the water pump, water heater, etc.

If it's not there, only other logical place I can think of is up front near the cap, maybe inside the front bay or somewhere on the exterior in that area.
  • My LED lights on the cap have the switch on the control panel where all my drain valves and water hook ups are.
  • It's not a clearance or marker light, just an annoying led light but I'm the kind of guy that wants to know how everything works. They are factory installed as I have seen them on videos on utube.

Not familiar with your 5th wheel but most outside lights especial on the front and rear of the trailers are powered by the truck safety light connection in the 7-way connection...

Was just looking at a photo on-line and don't see any LED LIGHT strips being used. maybe was added by the previous owner...
