Thanks all. The double axle requirement is one of the hubs' for some reason, and I remember his dad telling him he doesn't want a triple axle trailer... and when dad says something, he usually goes for it. I think it has something to do with how the tires wear unevenly and/or its costly to replace 6 tires vs 4? Maybe? Really no idea. Once we get closer to purchasing we'll definitely have to evaluate the weight issue. Definitely won't be going the full 40' either though, for the outbuilding issue. We'd be most comfortable in the 36-38' range.
