which teeny car for toy hauler?

next on the list to consider is a toy hauler with space for a teensy car.
which cars are good candidates by virtue of size alone?
is there a discussion about this somewhere you could direct me? i'm not great at search terms, sorry.

    I looked into this a while back - an older Toyota Echo (became the Prius) with a gas engine was about 2200#. The Prius is a lot heavier (batteries).

    I think the Toyota Yaris is similar...

    The 4 cyl model is only about $40,000, and it weighs all of 1250 lb. 300 HP, it'll do 0-60 in 2.9 seconds, if you can shift fast enough.

    Ok, that's MY choice. Probably best bet is a Mini-Cooper or a VW bug.

    Honda S600 if you could find one would be perfect. Small and extremely light.
