Who offers a 5th wheel factory installed Geni?

The factory geni would be about a 5500 Geni.

The little 2.8 would run one major draw. A 5500 would run most of everthing at the same time and be quieter as well. No on hooking the Onan and Yamaha together, not designed to be bridged.

Unless you're looking at a TH, you're unlikely to find an OEM genset. Not saying that they're not available, but unlikely. I do know that Jayco's Eagle HT 27.5RLTS is now available with genprep, and it's right at 31'. Not sure about the other Eagle HTs.

Yes they are offered in other Jayco Models.

Looking at this http://northwoodmfg.com/arctic-fox-2/arctic-fox-28-5c/ looks like the option is for a 3.6 Onan Propane Geni...

I'm thinking if thats the case maybe buying a 2nd Yamaha 2000 Geni & hooking it up to my other 2000 I currently own, I might be fine?

It would save me a few Grand?
& allow me to run Gas vs propane?
Being I'm told use so much fuel?

I would mind turning off the A/C while using the Microwave & things like that.

Yet the simply push a button with no prep is still very attractive?

Even though I have a built in gen on my Raptor, I also use, because I already have it, a Honda 2000i gen that we use just for coffee maker, music soundbar and general 120v stuff along with charging the batteries. If the temps outside are mild, I'll run it all night with a couple fans on instead of the Onan, only because the Hondas use very little gas. Once we start full timing the Honda will go away.

The way I see it , It will depend on what your wants and needs are.. I used to run my fifth wheel with 2 Honda eu2000's running in parallel.. I made a 5 gallon extended run fuel tank and that allowed me to run my entire trailer for many hours without refilling the fuel..

BUT, I still had to get everything out and hook it up , fill the fuel tank, I had to carry and store both gennies. and the cable and locks to keep them mine..

That way worked great and I was very happy doing things that way.. When I fell onto a deal, and was able to get an Onan 6500 installed I jumped at it..

Now , I just push a button.. and LOVE IT ! ! !

Almost any manufacturer will be HAPPY to take your $$ for a factory installed gen!!

There are better options than "factory installed".

You need to re-visit your other post.

Bottom line - it's your money!

Order with Generator *PREP* - decide later if you need one or not.
Buy the gen of your choice - at a much better price, or pay more now.
