Why did you go with a 5th wheel?
We are a first time RV buyer and are weighing some of the options. We started our quest for an RV thinking that we would buy a TT, but now we are open to 5th wheels, as they have been suggested to us...

Well, frankly I don't want to live in a mobile bowling alley. Everyone told me that the storage in a MH was more than in the basement and storage bins on a 5th. I guess it is if you can cram what you have into a 2' X 3' X 2' box )at least most of them seem to be that size. I need a big basement that's why I went with a 5th. Other things also counted - 8 foot ceilings, more room in s shorter foot print, don't have to pack up if we want to go shopping.
