We are a first time RV buyer and are weighing some of the options. We started our quest for an RV thinking that we would buy a TT, but now we are open to 5th wheels, as they have been suggested to us...

If you buy a 30 foot 5er, you get 30 feet of space. If you buy a 30 foot TT, you get 3 feet of tongue and 27 feet of space. Also, so much easier to hook up with a 5er. We have owned a TT and 2 5er's. Lord willing we will stay with the 5er's.
