Lippert now offers the Reese Goosebox replacement pin box as OEM for those that wish to pull a 5'r with a gooseneck hitch in their bed. As for stability, I recently returned from a trip and got caught in some pretty nasty winds and rain. Tornado warning and all in the area. Heck even had to dodge one of those 8'x10' highway signs that blew into the right lane. Trailer sat upright and behaved better that any semi I ever drove in that kind of weather. Don't want to do that again, but pleased it did as well as it did.
