Totally unsure if this is how your camper is plumbed...but my forward black tank has two valves. One us under the camper and I would have to crawl and bend funny to open and close it.
However, the pipe also runs further out to the side of the camper and joins up with the two forward grey tank lines. Right before the 1st grey tank, my black tank has a second valve.
I leave the first open all the time... (which could be a problem with clogging, but has not happened... yet..) (also have the in tank hose cleaner thinggy)
Perhaps you could leave your hard to reach valve open all the time, and add a second valve in an easier location. (or perhaps there is one already)
