The cheapest good solution is this usb wifi adapter plus this yagi antenna for a total of $30. Ray I have bought over 15 of these for people in my RV park so they can get a better signal. I'm on one right now as otherwise it's only a two bar signal instead of the five it gets. Sometimes you can just use the stub antenna that comes with the high speed adapter.

Here is a link to the Wifi Range extender that I use in every campground and hotel that has wireless. I also use it with my celluar phone to extend the wireless range outside. I am and have been a Technology Director for 15 years and have found this device to be the most economical and easiest to configure without paying for your arm and leaving a leg:
    Netgear Wifi Extender

    .

"Gearitis" - no luck with the link you provided either..:(

Many Wifi Extenders on Netgear's site = no help for *your* favorite.

    .

"Rayeckles" - the *Technology Corner* forum (here) has lots and lots more Technology "gurus"......as well as the info you are looking for.
(Use the search feature - limit your search to that forum)

BTW - be a good place for "Gearitis" to hang out for readers to benefit from his 15 years of Tech experience!
(However, he's gotta work on his linking "techniques")..:W

Ubiquity makes a lot of wireless stuff. Which are you referring to specifically?
