Wiggle

6pt here. Just use it as it is good enough for us. Only trailer I didn't notice any movement was with tires removed and on blocks.

That said, I did have X-chocks with my previous TT that worked great in that instance (just manual 4 corner stabilizers). I tried them on the current 5th w/6pt, and found no difference (IN MY CASE). So I sold them.

I also tried a pin stabilizer (good one, 3 adjustable legs, etc). Had one for a 5th I owned a long time ago, and it worked great with that 5th (but only front legs and rear stabs on that 5th). Did nothing appreciable again for the current 5th. Difference in part was the old 5th had a solid pin, the current had a trailair (which allowed too much movement). Bought it used for $65 and sold it again for $65. It was worth a shot.

I had the very same disappointment when we got our first 5er...I found the one thing that took the most wiggle out was keeping as much of the front jacks retracted as possible by setting them on large blocks. That alone made a huge difference.

Later I added JT Strongarms to the 4 pt level and wiggle is 98% gone

Your level up system should eliminate most wiggle. Try to level it manually.

Are all of you posting about adding the stabilizers like JT Strongarms, also ones with the 6 point level up system? Or not? I'm still astounded that the leveling system doesn't take care of most of the movement.

We have the SteadyFast system on our 38' Lifestyle. It is a great system and only 3 quick, easy knobs to turn to deploy.
It does not remove 100% of the movement in the rear but in the front is just about does. I think you'd be pleased with the results.

I installed the Steadyfast on my 5er a few months ago and have been really happy with it. Three large handles to lock/unlock and your done.

I am very sensitive to movement also, especially in a camper. We have the JT strong arms and it has helped a lot.

I have the BAL Lok Arm stabilizers that are similar to the JT's. They work ok but are a pain to set up. I have six of them so that is six times I have to bend over and tighten a bolt. I have a friend who has a Steady Fast system on his 5er. I think if I ever trade trailers that is what I will go with next time. Good luck, John

for those of you who actually gave me some ideas.. I thank you..we will look into the JT strongholds.. I read where they work with the 6 pt system.. I am one of those people extreme sensitivity to movement.. so appreciate what was said.. those of you who decided it was just a time to be a smart aleck.. go someplace else to do that.. I was asking an honest question, and was really hoping to get honest caring answers.. thank you to those that did just that.

Raising the unit more may help some plus still using chocks between the tires. I have noticed that after I auto level sometimes we have a very slight wiggle. If I raise the whole camper up some and add the x chocks it's about as stable as you can get.

That's an excellent point. If the tires are still providing most of the support on the low side, then the "spring" in the tires would certainly allow some movement. Having said that, I think frame rigidity and the associated rigidity of the 6-point jack mounts enters into the equation as well as I haven't noticed any wiggle or sway with our LevelUp 6 point system as installed on our Mobile Suites.
