My driveway is similar.I needed to add a riser to my hitch to get the clearence I needed between rails.I have 6-7 inches now but get as close as two when backing into driveway.Plenty of space but I wouldve kissed my rails without riser.Luckily I already had riser on prior to attempting to back in driveway.
