Actually they don't open like a normal RV window. Only the bottom 6-8 inches tilt out about 4 inches. And I have 2 windows in my master and neither one opens at all. On my past 4 RV's you could slide the window open then slide the screen open and stick your head out or even climb out. Not the case with frameless.
