Even though I have a V tailgate, the deal breaker for me would be the fact you can't lower a stock tailgate while hooking up. I just think that is a design mistake that should have been caught prior to that model going into production. So if they made that mistake, what others did they make? And if they meant to design it that way because they were trying to make room for something else, then they are idiots and I wouldn't buy one of their products for that reason.
You never know when someone else would need to hook up to your fiver and not being able to back under it with a stock tailgate down is a major problem in my opinion.
