The slide is only as deep as your refrigerator. It would be an issue hauling a car, but bikes and open wheeled vehicles (buggies & UTV's) should clear. Yes, you may need to open the slide to load and unload toys if they are wider. I had a similar layout in my Weekend Warrior.
