Winter storage

You could. Better idea is a trickle solar charger system. I have a twenty-five watt panel and small controller that keeps my batteries charged. TT is covered, small panel sits on one of my covered 100 watt panels strapped down.

Beside washing and covering it....you should winterize it also. (I'm sure you already knew this.)
Leaving it plugged in depends on the type of converter you have..Your converter needs to be a "3 stage" style unit. If it isn't, it will likely destroy your batteries...

If you aren't sure, remove the batteries, store them inside and unplug your trailer.

Ok do you tender the batteries or just leave them to drain and recharge in the spring

So I should tender them?I don't know what to do, so I can't keep trailer plugged in or I may wreck them ,draining is no good..

If you have a battery tender, I would use that. I do this with my Cougar 5er. Unplug the trailer and run an extension to feed the tender. I have also pulled them and put them in the basement in the past. I would avoid having the converter charge them all winter unless you know you have a good 3 stage unit. Your choice.

I park my Z turn and lawn tractor side by side in the winter. hook Tender Jr to one and jump one to the other with home made No12 jumper cable. In the spring it is turn the key on them and go.

So my answer would be yes.
