Winter Travel on 101
I want to go from Oregon to Southern California in mid December and want to travel the 101. I have a 36' 5th Wheel. How are the roads during this time... thoughts???

If you have extra time and a little adventurist, I would slide over on to CA 1 at Fort Bragg. Scenic route right along the coast line. Comes back into US 101 north end of Golden Gate bridge. Much slower route and driver needs to pay attention!
