Winterizing...did I miss anything?

Did you leave the refrigerator doors open?

I also remove my barbeque, Coleman stove, etc. to eliminate any attraction to the unit for pests. One other thing I do after pumping antifreeze through the system is turn off the pump, depressurize the system, and manually hold the check valve open on the City water connection while my wife bumps the pump to displace the water out of the connection and replace it with antifreeze.

I will be doing this in a couple of weeks as well and putting it back in indoor storage for the winter. I hate this time of year!

I did leave the fridge/freezer doors open, and I drained the 2 low points. I did get some pink stuff out at the city water connection. I removed the BBQ grill last year but I'm thinking I may leave it in the basement and place a sticky trap right there...still thinking on that one.

Winterize the black tank flusher. If water is in the backflow device it will freeze and crack then leak.

I cover the tires with either the store bought type or homemade from plywood scraps. Helps keep the sun from beating down on them all winter.
I also it cut pieces of reflextix in the windows to keep the sun from fading the fabric.

look for openings ( slide rails?) in the frame that varmints could use to get into your underbelly. Squirrels and mice are infamous for making winter homes there.

I dump a gallon or so of the pink stuff into the Black Tank. The gray tank(s) get some just by running the stuff out the faucets/shower head.
X2 on leaving the refer/freezer door open.
I also leave the ceiling vents open (under Maxxair covers) and crack the end windows (under their covers).
Did you also flush out the Water Heater using something like a Tank Saver wand?

I would give the tires max air pressure + 5 to 10 pounds. I have heard of others going up to 25% more than max but can't make myself do that.

I have an "outside shower" next to my black tank flushers. I hook a hose to the shower and the other end to the black tank flush. Turn the pump on, then turn the "shower" on and it will run pink stuff through your black tank flush lines.
