If it's new, and has never had water in it, there is nothing to winterize. As a Canadian, I know where you are.. it's cold up there. Charge, then disconnect the battery and leave it in a safe place.
But we are leaving for California next month and returning mid-March, so we will be winterizing at that time, and would like to be prepared.
