Winterizing question

Hello all,
A bit frustrated here. We own a 2016 Keystone Fuzion 345 with the Freeze Guard winterizing system and tried to winterize the system today. We opened both low point drains, pulled the anode plug from the water heater and then switched the water heater bypass switch and winterize switch to on. According to the directions in the command center, it says to attach hose to "winterize" hose outlet and stick other end of hose into the RV antifreeze bottle. Supposedly we then go inside the camper, turn on the water pump and open up the faucets until pink flows thru. Well.......we do not hear the pump turn on when we open the faucets....nothing...no pump noise at all. We tried switching the winterize switch to off...still nothing. I closed the low point drains....still nothing. I'm assuming if we lost prime on the pump we should still hear it turn on correct? We used the water pump this summer while dry camping and it pulled water from the fresh water tank without issue (except the pump being rather loud).
I'm at a loss and ready to just pour 8-10 gallons of pink stuff in the fresh water tank to see if the pump will turn on and pull from the fresh water tank. I really don't want to do that, because it's a toy hauler and the fresh water tank is HUGE (not even sure how many gallons of pink it would take to engage the pump). At this point, I'm open to all suggestions....we did check the fuse box and the water pump fuse was fine. I'm not even sure where the water pump is located :-( Any help would be greatly appreciated! We've already had 2 nights of 32 degree weather, so very anxious to get the unit winterized before there is any damage to the plumbing. Thanks!!
  • Do not fret. Do no not put gallons of a/f into your fresh water tank You have done the right thing in switching your water heater bypass valves; draining the water heater, your fresh tank then switching your pump valve to suction from fresh water tank to antifreeze suction .
Check your pump on switch, its fuse , whatever to get it to run. then just let it pump the A /F to each faucet , shower and toilet. Do not forget the outdoor shower if you have one.
