Most of the ice makers water supply lines are not inside the freezer.
If no one comes up with a better method, I would at least disconnect the water line that runs from the fridges electric valve on the back to the ice maker and let it drain out.
If it has a water dispenser there will be a small tank hidden inside the fridge someplace that will also need to be drained or protected from freezing as well.
