I set it up so I can back in with a good view and can see if anyone is behind me close enough that I should not pull in after passing. It has a wide enough view that I can see cars in the left and right lanes when passing or someone standing at my bumper. It was not cheap at about 500.00 but when you roll it into a 45,000.00 purchase it was a drop in the bucket.
My trailer was prewired with the adapter and pigtail to plug it in so made it very easy. The mount it comes with is horrible so I used a universal GPS beanbag on my dash. much better now
