Winged One: The system you suggest is a hardwired system (not wireless) and would be the clear, foolproof choice IF you can accept a coaxial connector and a hanging cable from the front of the trailer to the cab of your truck. That, and stringing 50 ft. of coax through, over, or under your trailer. But that is exactly why I posted the question in the first place. I want to know if anyone has found a reliable wireless system. I have researched significantly on the internet and found that range claims for the non-digital, analog, video connection seem to be greatly amplified. I need to stay with non-digital, non-proprietary video technology or else replace my 9 inch split screen monitor and now-functional side cameras or add a third monitor to my fairly crowded truck dash.
Sam Spade: You're suggesting some fairly basic factors and I understand that I have not shared the fact that I am a retired electronic engineer or that I have conferred with tech support at TadiBrothers -- the problem is poor signal strength and immuninity to interference. I just want to know if anyone has a successful wireless backup system on a large 5th wheel that is RF analog NTSC video.
