Would you purchase a used hitch? Good or bad idea?

I was thinking of purchase a used B&W 3300 hitch from a local couple for $500.00. But, maybe I should purchase a new hitch for around $1,200.00 from a local dealer and have it set up for additional ...

Heck yeah!! Buy it!!

I just bought a new 3300 for my 2011 Ford dually and LOVE it!!
Never towed with so much confidence!!

And the only thing that could wear out is the jaws, but an easy replacement. But I doubt the jaws are even close to worn out.

I would NEVER buy a used Reese (or even a new one for that matter). The 3300 is head and shoulders better than the Reese.
