- AllworthExplorer IIWelcome to the crowd that used to say:
"Unnecessary Expense".
And now say:
"I'll never go back!" - Me_AgainExplorer IIIThey easily could have a trailer free standing anti lock setup. It is only money and would just cost a grand or two more! Just need a separate line to each wheel, wheel sensors, a computer and control manifold. Chris
- laknoxNomadNow, if they could only tie in the ABS system... BTW, I saw a video about 30 years ago showing a =semi= with ABS on all axles. Way cool!

the new truck has a control in the settings screen to change between ELECTRIC ONLY ... OR ELECTRIC OVER HYDRAULIC.. that is why I waited till now , I have had the parts for 2 months , just was not going anywhere far , and did not want to get an additional controller for 2 short trips... - Me_AgainExplorer III

I will never-ever have an RV without disc brakes. Once was enough for me. It's no wonder the auto industry went to them in the late 60's!!! RV industry - you are always draggin' your feet. rockin'
They just do not want people ripping the caps off their ST tires when they stop in a hurry! And that is not as funny as it may sound!

- aruba5erExplorerDid you use the intergrated ford controller or ??? I have to watch the adjustment from trailer to trailer or I start smoking the tires. Not nice on tires All manufacturers should put on disc brakes. The price would come down and even though, you would not have to worry about adjusting them EVER. and if grease blows out the seal the grease doesn"t land on the pads. Great upgrade
- Between those discs and the new TV... I think I'm in love ?????
- fla-gypsyExplorerAn expensive upgrade but I can understand your reaction. Maybe one day.......
- C_SchomerExplorerThey get even better. After a few weekend trips I had to turn the controller gain down. Craig
