After reading your post I went and looked at my tongue yesterday. My '06 Superlite has the 3/16" tongue. So maybe I am okay or maybe I should go to a local welder and have them do the prophylactic fix? :? I am certainly not towing it 3,000 miles to get it welded. I feel very lucky that I have dodged the bullet and really feel for the owners that have had the major issues.
