Tighten 'em when you arrive on site and your X-Chocks, or any other in-between tire chock, will be loose once the tires cool and shrink in diameter. Guaranteed ... it's physics that you, nor I, nor anyone else can control. ;)
Wedge chocks aren't designed to "lock down" trailer wheels, merely to prevent the trailer from inadvertently shifting. Two different products, two entirely different purposes.
But hey, what would Norco, the manufacturer of the BAL X-Chock know?! :S
