Are Carlisle Radial Trail available in your area?
Load range E, speed rating L (ie 75 mph)
There are many options in this size tire, a couple with claimed "LT" designation as well. LT just doesn't mean what people think it means, when its still a tire designed for trailers.
Anyway. I've got better than 5,000 high speed miles on my Radial Trail RH tires now, in 14" with 87mph speed rating, and I can assure you...these things WILL run very well at every posted speed limit.
I ran TPMS on my last trip (Custer, Yellowstone, Cheyenne and many points around and in between). 4,600 miles total, and just a tick under 4,000 actual towing in a 3 week period. TPMS was real boring. Tire temps NEVER went over 10 degree's of outside air temp, and pressure was always within 5psi of cold, regardless.
The only exciting part was when the Tireminder would loose signal to any given tire, randomly.
ANY WHO...the Radial Trail RH tires run fantastic at speeds well over 65mph and they run cool as well. I highly recommend them.
