just curious and will probably be disappointed, but how much did you spend for a set of G-614's? I got all 4 mounted, balanced and out the door for $1200. I know better than to keep shopping after I've bought but.... curiosity always gets me.
That is a GOOD price!
Thats a terrible price for a questionable tire compared to a Sailun S637 , which are just half the price of a G614 , and again arguably a S637 are a more dependable tire. It just seems crazy to pay the outrageous price they are getting for a G614, but it does make sense because you are having to pay that extra for the insurance they want so they can fix the damaged trailers . It makes a lot more sense to buy a tire you don't need to pay for insurance.
Complete nonsense! Run the G14's on all rigs past and present. NEVER A PROBLEM. Great tire. Mind you, I do keep proper inflation, do a visual at every stop while in travel, keep tires covered when parked any length of time and never use Armor All. You know, proper care. Look after your good quality tires, rated for your demands and they will look after you.
Complete nonsense, not hardly. , As I said there has always been the if factor with the G614's, I know how to take care of tires, and have taken care of my G614's, but quality is quality , and if its lacking somewhere there will be failures, and the G614's have had more then their share of failures . Its a fact like it or not.
The complete nonsense is in thinking because you have had no problems others will have the same success .
