OK, I just ordered the G-614's and am having them installed next week. Where is a good place to order a TPMS to put on at the same time?
IMHO I would not waste the money on a monitoring system with those tires . I have had 5 sets of GY tires now and not even a flat on any of them. Thousands of miles. Just something else to worry about with the monitoring system. You spent a lot of money on the tires so your money spend it as you please.
He certainly spent more money then necessary on the G614's, when the Sailuns are arguably a better tire at a much lower price, but to each his own.
I have yet to read a failure with the Sailuns, but the G614's are well documented on failures.
But Sailun won't pay for damages to your rig if a tire fails; GY will, in many, if not most, cases.

They won't have to pay for damages if they don't fail, I have yet to read a failure with the S637's. Sure at some point any tire can fail, but there sure haven't been any bad reports about them .
It doesn't make sense to me to pay nearly twice for a tire that can explode, and leave you beside the road regardless of who gets stuck with the damages, I have insurance for this kind of thing. I think peace of mind for a more dependable tire is much more important then who gets the bill for a blowout . Time will tell on the Sailuns .
