Well, as I understand it, the OP has already bought his tires. I see no point in continuing to flog this not only dead, but completely decomposed horse. It's turned into the usual "my way or the highway" deal.
I offered up my opinion on the GY tires he bought. You'll notice I did not bash hell out of the other seemingly decent tire. Although it's just my opinion, I think much of the tire troubles we here about arises from misuse, overloading and lack of attention and maintenance.
The complete nonsense comes into play when people hammer on a product that may have had issues in the past. I mean, are some of you suggesting that no one should ever buy a product that has had past problems or issues? Jeez, we'd all be living in caves, rubbing sticks together. Fords were notorious for rusting out in the 70's....So....Nobody should ever buy a Ford again??
