Nice work! Only difference in the way I did mine, and you may want to rethink yours....I did not tap threads in to the pin box. I went the bolt & nut/washer route. There's a whole lot of leverage on a few bolt threads with 4 bikes bouncing....I was not comfortable with that thought...wouldn't take much to pull those threads out.
How I did it....using grade 8 nuts & bolts I used extended handle long nose needle nose pliers & held the bolt from the inside of the pin box while my neighbor started the nut on the outside(after applying Loctite). When all 4 were in place I was able to hold the bolt with a long box wrench while he torqued the nut on the outside. I then marked the nut/bolt with a sharpie so I can keep an eye on any movement.
