yokohama tires

After my blowout, I made it to Americas Tire and next morning they put on
Yokohama LT 235 85R16 10 ply
They said they are great tires amy comment
  • I second Michelin XPS or Bridgestone Duravis R250.
Look up the weight of the Yokohamas online - if close to the 50-60 (?) lbs the Michelin or Bridgestones weigh, the Yokos may be almost as good?
  • Take them back and ask for Bridgestone Duravis R250's or Michelin XPS RIBs on their dime for selling you old stock. Chris

  • Nothing wrong with a LT tire as long as it meets the trailers axle requirements. They make good tires however most Yoko's I've seen have a bit of rough tread for a good long term trailer tire.
Which Yokohama LT tire are you asking about ??
  • I'm not fond of ST tires normally, so if these LT tires can carry the weight they should be fine.
  • In my opinion best tire you can buy been running them about 15 years no issues great traction
