- TravlingmanExplorer IIWhen I bought my S637's last year online, I took them to Direct Tire to mount with no issues. They could only air to 90 PSI per company rule, but they work with a truck shop up the road to go to 110 if I wanted. I liked what I saw while there and will probably buy my next tires from them for the truck and car when needed.
- RAS43Explorer IIIThe only shop around here big enough to pull a trailer to is Les Schwab and I wouldn't use them due to their higher prices for everything. Wish there was a shop nearby to save my aging body. :(
- rhagfoExplorer IIIWell as stated before no issues with getting trailer tires mounted at Discount Tire. Both our house 5er and DD four horse slant with living quarters!
- Cummins12V98Explorer IIII don’t buy them as I just don’t have tire issues.

When I went to DT for my wife's tires they added a few hundred dollars to the total without even asking me if I wanted all that stuff.
I could buy an extra tire for the cost of the road hazard, life time rotation, etc.
I'm money ahead on tire replacements/pro rates by paying the road hazard fees at DT. (Shrug)

As a last resort were down on a city street corner mom and pop shops....and of course Walmart tire shop at the bottom of the chain.

The OP got the Discount Tire Shop employee who just got hired "away" from Taco Bell.
OP sounds like one of (long ago) poster Fast Eagle's kin.
BTW - The Chinese can -and do- mfgr *quality* tires (to mfgr's specs). Even have Michelin factories in China...
Nonsense. Have you ever done business with Discount Tire? They actually an excellent training program where the level of service is to a certain standard nationwide. In 40 years of trading with various tire companies they're the ones I do business with. - DtankExplorerThe OP got the Discount Tire Shop employee who just got hired "away" from Taco Bell.
